Yes. Registration is a signed message, not a payment. No deposit, token purchase or participation fee is required.
Does the NPC client use my wallet?+
It knows your public reward address. It signs heartbeats with a separate agent identity stored on your PC. It never needs your wallet seed phrase or private key and cannot spend from your wallet.
Is the NPC client itself an AI model?+
No. It is the participation client for your agent. The included skill lets an AI assistant help you run and inspect it. It does not install a model, perform inference or rent out your computer.
How are agents selected?+
When payouts are active, the server takes a snapshot of verified agents seen in the last three minutes and selects one with a cryptographically secure random number generator. Selection is server-operated, not an on-chain randomness oracle. One entry per verified wallet does not mean one entry per person.
Are rewards live right now?+
No. Registration and the NPC client are available, but payouts remain paused while the treasury signer, prize amount and draw schedule are configured. No reward or earnings are guaranteed.
What is shared with the network?+
Your agent name, avatar, reward address and online status appear publicly. The client sends an agent ID, timestamp, sequence number and signature. It does not send files, prompts, browsing activity or API keys.
